I first began my regular yoga practice in college in 2009. It created a space for me to set the stress of life aside and focus on the present. My yoga practice would ebb and flow throughout the years, but I would always come back to it when I needed something solid to land on. In 2020 my life changed overnight and unexpectedly. I dove back in to my practice wholeheartedly and just as it always had, yoga kept me grounded when life was pulling me in a hundred different directions at once.
In 2024 I decided to deepen my practice by completing a 200 hour yoga teacher training through Yoga Assets in Millcreek, UT. I had zero desire to teach. But through my training, digging deeper into my personal “why”, and seeing all that yoga has to offer everyone (all ages, shapes, sizes) I had no choice but to share this ancient practice with anyone and everyone.
I went on to complete an additional 300 hour yoga teacher training in 2025 through Yoga Assets where I was able to dive deeper into the history, anatomy, and what it means to be a teacher.
I stand for inclusion and accessibility. Come as you are. Everyone belongs here.
